The birth of your baby is a once in a lifetime moment to capture these early details of your little one. Finally, after months of waiting, you’re able to see and hold your miracle. This time is made up of so many seemingly simple details… counting fingers and toes, fine delicate hair, and taking in every little bit of this new person while they sleep in your arms and you gaze at their face.
So what is Fresh 48 Photography exactly?
A Fresh 48 Photo Session is a special session for families who want their baby’s first hours documented, including those uniquely newborn details, without having the entire labor and birth photographed.
The session is held at the place of your baby’s birth (whether at a hospital, birth center, or home) within the first 48 hours of your baby’s life.
While I’m there, I’ll do my job of finding the best natural light and angles to tell the story of your family’s new addition in a beautiful, honest way. These are unposed images that capture real interactions between you and your baby during those quiet moments, as well as those first feedings, first diaper changes, and emotional first family meetings. I’ll document the newness of your baby’s sweet fingers and feet, those delicate wisps of hair, and beautiful newborn details that change so quickly, all while chatting with you and your husband, and making sure everyone is comfortable.
